Go back to MessengerThese standards were updated during Consultation 018 and 019
At their December meeting, CPSA Council approved six updated standards of practice. These standards went into effect on Jan. 1, 2021:
- Advertising
- Conflict of Interest
- Practising Outside of Established Conventional Medicine (Formerly Complementary and Alternative Medicine)
- Closing or Leaving a Medical Practice
- Job Action
- Relocating a Medical Practice
All six standards are available on our website; please take some time to review them. Supplementary advice to the profession documents to help guide and support you in your practice will be coming soon—keep an eye on our website and future issues of The Messenger for when these are available.
Read the outcomes from Consultation 018 and Consultation 019.
