CPSA Standards Of Practice: Seven Standards Reviewed By CPSA Council, Six Updated Standards Coming Into Effect Soon

At December’s meeting, CPSA Council reviewed seven standards of practice:
- Consultation 018
- Advertising
- Conflict of Interest
- Practising Outside of Established Conventional Medicine
- Consultation 019
- Closing or Leaving a Medical Practice
- Job Action
- Relocating a Medical Practice
- Consultation 020
- Cannabis for Medical Purposes
The revised Consultation 019 standards received CPSA Council’s approval for implementation and were accepted by the Minister of Health. These three updated standards will be implemented shortly—please watch your inbox for more information coming soon.
The updated standards from Consultation 018 were approved by Council and will be implemented Jan. 1, 2021. Read the Consultation 018 outcomes.
