Dr. Obaid Afridi guilty on portion of charges of unprofessional conduct, other charges dismissed
Dr. Obaid Afridi, a general practitioner from Grande Prairie, faced three counts of unprofessional conduct and was found guilty on a portion of one of the allegations relating to creating an inadequate patient record. The remaining allegations were unproven and dismissed by the Hearing Tribunal. The written decision can be reviewed in full on CPSA’s website.
The Tribunal will reconvene at a later date to consider submissions on sanction.
