It’s November, and that means it is time for all physicians and physician assistants (including those withdrawing or retiring from practice) to complete their annual renewal.

CPSA is a learning organization, and following last year’s annual renewal, we stepped back to review our processes and identify opportunities for improvement based on the valuable feedback we received from our regulated members and internal teams. After an extensive debrief, we have committed to working towards improving the annual renewal process over the next three years. We are delighted to see some of these changes implemented for the 2025 renewal cycle. CPSA would like to sincerely thank those who signed up to help us test this year’s renewal information form (RIF).

The changes you can look forward to seeing on your 2025 renewal include:

As of Nov. 13, 2024, approximately 2,900 regulated members have already completed their annual renewal. Remember to complete your renewal before Dec. 31, 2024, to keep your practice permit active and avoid a late fee! Want to know what your fees cover? Check out the November Messenger article, What am I paying for?

If you haven’t already, prepare for your annual renewal by signing up for our Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) Plan. When you enroll in PAP, we’ll automatically withdraw your annual renewal fees in December of each year. This year, PAP won’t just save you time, but it could save you money too! Sign up for PAP before Nov. 21 to be automatically entered to win one of ten $250 rebates for your 2025 annual renewal fees.
