To streamline our complaints process, the Professional Conduct team will soon launch an online Complaints Centre. Using a case management software called Case IQ (previously known as i-Sight), Albertans will be able to submit complaints to CPSA through a secure, online form.

What does this mean for physicians?

One feature of Case IQ is the ability to share large files. Going forward, if you are involved in a complaint, you will receive an email notification from Case IQ with instructions on how to access your complaint documents. The email will come from, with the subject line CPSA Complaint. If possible, please add the domain to your email’s safe list so these messages don’t go to your spam folder.

More information about the Complaints Centre is coming in January’s issue of The Messenger.
