Dr. Obaid Afridi guilty on portion of charges of unprofessional conduct, other charges dismissed

Edmonton, AB – Dr. Obaid Afridi, a general practitioner from Grande Prairie, faced three counts of unprofessional conduct and was found guilty on a portion of one of the allegations relating to creating an inadequate patient record. The remaining allegations were unproven and dismissed by the Hearing Tribunal.

The Tribunal will reconvene at a later date to consider submissions on sanction.
