Join CPSA’s Advisory Committee on Laboratory Medicine

Support profession-led regulation by joining CPSA’s Advisory Committee on Laboratory Medicine. CPSA is seeking one hematologist and one microbiologist or virologist with an interest in laboratory operations and a passion for quality management principles. The Advisory Committee on Laboratory Medicine oversees CPSA’s accreditation program of medical diagnostic laboratories for private facilities as defined in CPSA bylaws, and for public facilities through contract with Alberta Health Services. The committee supports the success of process-based assessments in diagnostic facilities through the development of evidence-based standards and other accreditation program support.

CPSA’s Accreditation Advisory Committees report and provide direction to the Medical Facility Accreditation Committee, which is accountable to CPSA Council.
