Find a Physician now called Physician Directory

If you’re searching for a physician on our website, you’ll notice a new name for our physician search tool. Previously called Find a Physician, the new Physician Directory includes the same information as before, except for the “accepting new patients” status.

This information was removed as a result of feedback we received—members of the public told us it was often inaccurate when they were searching for a new physician. As this status was based on information provided by physicians, it was often only updated once a year during annual renewal.

The Physician Directory can still be used to look up a physician, physician assistant or medical student, along with their practice location, type of practice (i.e., general, specialty, etc.), qualifications and any conditions on their practice permit (i.e., members of the Provisional Register, require a chaperone, etc.).
