Doctors are not Automatons! We are people, with a wide spectrum of moral, ethical and religious beliefs. Doctors should not be forced to "effectively refer" for a procedure they disagree with While society at large has seen a recent gradual deterioration in personal rights, there are certain lines that should not be crossed. There is enough access and availability within the system (Canada's already setting records) that there's no need for a doctor to "effectively refer" someone for MAID.
