For many years, you’ve helped your patients. Now, this is your opportunity to help your colleagues. CPSA is seeking a Senior Medical Advisor, Registration Assessments to join our team and help support our mandate of protecting Albertans.
Reporting to the Assistant Registrar, Registration, the Senior Medical Advisor, Registration Assessments, will provide expertise in the areas of physician assessment, particularly in the areas of Registration Assessment involving Practice Readiness Assessments Alberta (PRA-AB), Change in Scope, Return to Practice, and Summative Assessments. You will ensure that assessments are conducted with competent assessors who build sufficient evidence for CPSA to make registration decisions.
Our ideal candidate has experience in assessment, teaching/mentoring, and analyzing competence-related data combined with a strong interest in quality assurance programs with an educational focus. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
If you have a medical degree, are eligible to practice in Alberta, and have a minimum of five years in clinical practice and recent administrative experience, please consider joining our team!
