The 2025 annual renewal for physicians and physician assistants will officially run from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2024. As we get closer to November, take the following steps to make sure you are fully prepared.

Don’t miss a message

The first thing you need to do as we approach your annual renewal is confirm that you have added CPSA (info@cpsa.ab.ca) to your inbox safe sender list. You also need to ensure your email address is up-to-date and unique, as shared email addresses are not permitted. If you’d like to update your preferred email address, you can do so by logging into your CPSA Portal.

Sign up for Pre-Authorized Payment

If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up for CPSA’s Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) plan. Through PAP, you can kick back and relax knowing that your RIF payment will be automatically withdrawn on Dec. 2 of each year.

This year, PAP won’t just save you time, but it could save you money, too! Sign up for PAP before Nov. 21 to be automatically entered to win one of ten $250 rebates for your 2025 annual renewal fees. With those savings, you could treat yourself to more than a month’s worth of pumpkin spice lattes (or another guilty pleasure).

Sign up for PAP and enter to win.
