For many years, you’ve helped your patients. Now, this is your opportunity to help your colleagues. CPSA is seeking a Senior Medical Advisor, Continuing Competence to join our team and help support our mandate of protecting Albertans.
Reporting to the Deputy Registrar, the Senior Medical Advisor, Continuing Competence, will perform as the case-lead for the assessment, management and follow-up of individual physicians and physician groups to ensure physician members remain competent throughout their careers.
Our ideal candidate has experience in assessing and teaching physician learners and/or practising physicians, coaching/mentoring and evaluating assessors and developing competency-based assessment tools and remedial programs. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
If you have a medical degree, are eligible to practise in Alberta and have ten or more years of clinical practice experience, please consider joining our team!
