Return to practice assessments
If you’ve been out of clinical practice for more than 3 years, you may have to complete a return to practice assessment to make sure you can start working safely again.
This assessment determines what kind of re-training or other support you might need to care for Albertans after your absence from medicine.
Return to practice examples can include returning from a medical leave or returning from a non-clinical role such as administration or teaching.
