Your personalized Practice Checkup is an interactive tool released annually to all physicians practising in Alberta. Through the Practice Checkup dashboard, you can see how your practice aligns with your peers and explore resources which could help you mitigate risk and identify opportunities for improvement.

Why is the Practice Checkup an important resource?

• Mitigate risks and find opportunities for improvement: While the Practice Checkup does not provide direct clinical guidance, you will be presented with risk mitigation strategies to support your practice.
• Compare your practice against peers: The Practice Checkup dashboard will provide you with the opportunity to reflect on your patterns in the context of broader trends and best practices at a regional and provincial level.
• CME credits: Reviewing your Practice Checkup qualifies for continuing medical education credits with the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
