Although September just started, the 2025 annual renewal for physicians and physician assistants will be here before we know it.

Annual renewal improvement plan

CPSA is a learning organization, and following last year’s annual renewal, we stepped back to take in comments provided internally and, even more importantly, the valuable feedback we received from you. After an extensive debrief, we have committed to working towards improving the annual renewal process over the next three years. We are delighted that some of these improvements will be implemented for the upcoming 2025 cycle.

The 2025 changes you can look forward to seeing on the upcoming renewal include:

  • Updated questions for improved comprehension and elimination of redundancies
  • New address entry tool to make it easier for you to provide us with location information
  • Improved inquiry management process to support a higher volume of inquiries during this period

Involving regulated members through testing

This year, we are also looking to involve you in testing before the annual renewal begins to help us improve and better anticipate how to support you throughout the annual renewal cycle.

We need you! To support the improvement of the annual renewal process, we are seeking physicians and physician assistants from all disciplines and locations to take part in process testing. We know that each member’s renewal is unique to their practice, and we hope that members from varying backgrounds, including those early in their careers or working in a rural setting, will choose to participate in this testing opportunity. Through this approach, we aim to identify challenges that may present for others in similar situations.

Here is some important information about taking part in this valuable opportunity:

  • Testing dates: Testing time slots can be booked on Sept. 26 or Sept. 27 between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm.
  • Time commitment: Between 45-90 minutes, depending on the complexity of your renewal.
  • Where and how: Testing will be completed virtually through a video call with a CPSA team member. While screensharing, you will complete a sample of your 2025 renewal and then provide feedback to the CPSA team member who will be with you throughout the process.
  • Compensation: As a thank you for your time and feedback, we will provide you with $250 off your 2025 annual renewal fees.

We look forward to collaborating with our membership so that your annual renewal experience can be better than ever.

If you are available and interested in helping improve annual renewal for the years to come, please sign up here. We are managing sign-ups for testing through a tool called Zeffy. After signing up, you will receive an email confirmation from contact@zeffy.com with further details.
