Does my medical clinic require accreditation with CPSA if it is already registered on the Medical Clinic Registry?
Registration with CPSA’s Medical Clinic Registry does not qualify a clinic to provide a Schedule 1 – Prescribed Health Service and does not substitute CPSA accreditation.
If a medical clinic intends to provide a Schedule 1 – Prescribed Health Service, such as ketamine therapy as outlined in the CPSA Bylaws, the clinic must first obtain the appropriate CPSA accreditation before providing the service. Until accreditation has been achieved, the provision of these services is not permitted.
If your facility only provides accredited services, you do not need to register with CPSA’s Medical Clinic Registry. Learn more about accredited services and the accreditation process here.
