Do Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) initiation approvals expire?

OAT initiation approvals no longer expire, and you do not need to reapply to maintain your OAT initiation approval. If you received an OAT initiation approval that included an expiry date, your approval remains active. If you require a letter confirming your active OAT initiation approval status, please contact OAT.Info@cpsa.ab.ca.
