When should I register my medical clinic with CPSA’s Medical Clinic Registry?

You should register your clinic with CPSA if at least one CPSA-registered physician practises in the location, and:

• Your clinic is not owned or operated by a provincial or federal authority, OR
• Your clinic is applying to CPSA as a sponsor of internationally trained physicians, OR
• Your clinic shares space and resources with a CPSA-accredited facility.

Once registered, medical clinics will receive confirmation from CPSA.

If you are a new clinic, you can register your clinic as soon as you have:

• Secured a clinic location,
• Selected a clinic name, and
• Confirmed that at least one CPSA-registered physician will practise at the location.

If your clinic is already operating but has not yet been registered, you may register at any time.
