The 2027 annual renewal for physicians and physician assistants will be here in the blink of an eye. Each year, we rely on regulated members who volunteer to provide feedback on the annual renewal form ahead of launch, allowing us to significantly improve the annual renewal form and our processes over the last several years. Putting your name forward as a tester allows us to continue evolving the form to better meet your needs in the years to come.

We are looking for physicians and physician assistants from all disciplines and practice locations to take part in testing. Each member’s renewal is unique to their practice and we hope to reflect these perspectives by including members from varying backgrounds in this opportunity.

However, in order to address specific areas of the form, this year we are hoping to have significant representation in our volunteer testing group from physicians who work in diagnostic fields (e.g., laboratory, diagnostic radiology) and those who are currently on or planning to switch to CPSA’s non-clinical register. If that sounds like you or someone you know, consider putting your name forward or sharing this opportunity.

Here is some important information about testing:

• Testing dates: Testing time slots can be booked on Sept. 2 and Sept. 4 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

• Time commitment: Between 45-90 minutes, depending on the complexity of your renewal.

• Where and how: Testing will be completed virtually through a video call with a CPSA team member. While screensharing, you will complete a sample of your 2027 renewal and then provide feedback to the CPSA team member who will be with you through the process. Please note, this is only a test and you will still be required to complete your annual renewal when it opens later this fall.

• Compensation: As a thank you for your time and feedback, we will provide you with $250 off your 2027 annual renewal fees.
