Event: CPSA to host virtual Rocky Mountain House town hall
RSVP for the town hallStarting this summer, CPSA will embark on a virtual Regional Tour across the province to hear from Albertans about their physician care. The first virtual stop is with Clearwater County and Rocky Mountain House on July 20. Area residents are invited to participate in a public town hall session that evening, to share their experiences with and perspectives on physician healthcare delivery in their community and in Alberta.
“CPSA’s public town hall meeting is a great opportunity for community members to let us know what’s working and what needs improvement when it comes to healthcare delivery by physicians in their area,” says CPSA Registrar Dr. Scott McLeod. “Hearing from these communities directly will help us better understand the unique, regional challenges these rural Albertans face in accessing safe, high-quality care from physicians, so we can identify possible solutions.”
The virtual public town hall will take place July 20 from 7-8:30 p.m. and is free to attend. Community members are asked to register in advance.
