CPSA launches refreshed medical clinic webpages

Infection Prevention and Control, MDR, Medical Clinics | Posted July 29, 2026

Finding information for medical clinics is now easier than ever.

CPSA has refreshed its Medical Clinics landing page, bringing together the guidance, tools and resources physicians and clinic teams need to support safe, high-quality patient care.

As part of this update, CPSA has introduced a new webpage dedicated to physicians’ responsibilities in medical clinics. The page includes CPSA’s standards, continuing competence programs and educational resources that support physicians in meeting their professional and administrative responsibilities within a clinic setting.

A new infection prevention and control (IPAC) landing page provides easy access to two refreshed webpages:

  • IPAC in medical clinics: Requirements, guidance, self-assessment tools and educational resources to help clinics reduce the risk of infection and protect patients and staff.
  • Medical device use in medical clinics: Requirements and practical resources for safely cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing reusable medical devices, along with guidance for single-use devices and quality improvement tools.

While the standards and requirements remain unchanged, the refreshed content and streamlined navigation make it easier to find the information and resources you need.

We invite you to explore the refreshed webpages and take advantage of the updated resources here >
