Requests should not be mandated for free under all circumstances as this would be similar to asking the average person to do work for free for a day. Anything a physician does carries risks and liabilities especially in the current global situation of uncertainty not to mention that as regulated members we are regulated by the Health Information Act, CPSA, provincial and federal governments and other sectors globally that impact safety and wellness of the physician and also the individuals in society.
