What is CPSA’s role in gender-affirming care for minors?

CPSA regulates physicians in Alberta. Its role is to:

• make sure physicians are aware of their responsibilities under the new law
• set standards within legislative frameworks for safe, ethical medical care
• review complaints about physician care and act on those that are determined to be unprofessional conduct
