Nominations now open for CPSA Council Election
Nominations are now open for the 2025 CPSA Council Election to fill one regulated member opening. This position is for a three-year term starting Jan. 1, 2025.
Lend your expertise to CPSA Council and let your rich knowledge and experience guide our medical profession by representing the best interests of patients in Alberta.
Follow these steps to submit your nomination:
- Learn about the role of a CPSA Councillor.
- Ensure you meet our eligibility requirements.
- Find three colleagues in good standing to endorse your nomination.
- Complete and submit the Candidate Profile Form online by Sept. 25, 2024.
We will accept nomination submissions until Sept. 25, 2024 at 11:59 pm.

- Sit at a diverse table with both medical professionals and public members who are passionate about Alberta health care.
- Equip yourself with governance and leadership skills while learning and getting support from other Councillors and the CPSA team.
