Before proceeding, please confirm that you meet the following eligibility criteria:
- You are a CPSA regulated member in good standing.
- You hold an active Alberta practice permit.
- You have a minimum of five years experience in medical practice.
- You do not have any significant, current disciplinary or fitness-to-practise matters that could impair committee service.
- You reside in Alberta.
- You are able to attend committee meetings (approximately three meetings per year, plus orientation and meeting preparation).
Candidates should demonstrate experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Continuing professional development (CPD)
- Quality improvement
- Physician competence
- Clinical assessment
- Medical education
- Peer review
- Physician performance assessment
- Practice improvement
- Medical leadership
- Health system quality and safety
A current resume and two reference letters must also be submitted with your form.
