Can reusable medical clinic linens and cloth gowns be taken home for laundering?

No. Clinic linens and reusable gowns must be laundered either:

On-site using a process that meets manufacturer instructions and infection prevention and control requirements, or
Through a contracted commercial laundry service.

Home laundering does not meet infection prevention and control requirements for effective cleaning and pathogen removal.
